In the aftermath of Storm Desmond, severe flooding on several roads was the only impediment that presented problems, but not insurmountable ones to the dedicated shooters that turned up at the Dunmanway Clay Shooting grounds today.
The organisers having checked that the venue was okay and safe set up the course on what turned out to be a beautiful mild and dry day. A large shooting complement turned out to participate and a very successful day was had. Credit must be shared by both the organising team and by the visiting shooters.
