County Cork Federation Selection Shoot for NARGC Inter- County Competition
The County Cork Federation Selection Shoot for the NARGC inter-County Competition and a 50 Bird Open Sporting Competition will be held at the Shooting Ground Ballingarry, Belgooly, Co Cork on Sunday 24th April 2016. First Card will be at 11 Am and Last Card will be at 3Pm sharp. All welcome.
Directions:
In Belgooly village which is on the main Cork to Kinsale road (R611). Coming from Cork direction turn up left behind the Huntsman Bar and sign posts will be erected from the next cross roads onward.
Waterfall and Bishopstown Annual Fundraising Shoot
The waterfall and Bishopstown Annual Fundraising Shoot will take place at the Lazydog Shooting Grounds on the 10th April 2016, first card at 10.00 am, last entry 2pm. There will be prizes, spot prizes, teas, coffees, snacks on the day.
Federation Qualifying Clay Shoot Dates
Federation qualifying shoot dates:
March 6th at Ballindenisk, Watergrasshill
April 3rd hosted by Bandon and Gaggin Game Protection Association
April 24th at Belgooly/Ballingary Clay target Grounds
May 29th at Dunmanway Clay Target Grounds. There will also be an Inter Club Shoot.
First card will be at 10:30am, last card at 3:00 pm at all shoots.
Quarterly Meeting of the Federation of Co Cork Gun Clubs
A Quarterly meeting of the Federation of Co Cork Gun Clubs will take place on Wed 17th Feburary 2016 at 20:30 in the Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig. The guest speaker will be from Fermoy Woodland Nurseries and will give a presentation on tree planting and maintenance and will take questions afterwards.
Hardwood trees ordered will be available for collection after the meeting
Bag return forms and returns for the snipe and woodcock survey will be collected at the meeting.
Upcoming Clay Target and County Qualifier and Open Shoot
The next Clay target County Qualifier and Open Shoot will be held in the Dunmanway Clay target Shooting Grounds on Feburary 07 2016.
Quarterly Meeting: November 2015
A quarterly meeting of the Federation of Cork County Gun Clubs will be held in the Oriel House Hotel Ballincollig on Wed 11th November at 20:30 hrs.
Our guest speaker is Mr Ian Fish, Gamekeeper, who will speak for 15 minutes on game-rearing and then answer any questions.
We’d be delighted to see members of Cork gun clubs at the event.
