Carragaline & Crosshaven Gun Club are holding an Open Clay Pigeon Shoot at the Lazy Dog Shooting ground on Sunday 08/10/2017 from 10 am to 3 pm. All are welcome. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
An Open Clay Pigeon shoot will be held at Ballindenisk House, Watergrasshill, Co Cork on Sunday 03 September 2017. 10 am till 3 Pm, All shooters are welcome.
The next County Qualifier and Open Shoot will be held at the Quarry Clay Shooting Grounds in Belgooly, Co Cork on Sunday 09/04/2017. First Card 11 am , last card 3 pm. €20 per round.
A County Qualifier and Club shoot will be held at Dunmanway Clay Shooting Grounds on 07 May 2017. First Card will be at 11:00 am with last card at 15:00 pm. 3 person and 6 person teams. An open shoot and a novelty shoot will also apply.
Superintendent Fogarty of An Garda Siochana wishes to meet with gun club members in the Bantry district. Castletownbere, Drimoleague, Schull, Goleen and the Mizen area. He wants to establish and touch base to share his requirements regarding safe gun storage and safe gun controls. This meeting will be held in the West Lodge Hotel on Tue 11th April at 21:00 hrs.
An information night for Gun Clubs will be hosted by An Garda Siochana at the West Lodge Hotel on April 11th at 21:oo hrs. Federation of Co Cork Executive will have a presence there on the night and will be delighted to meet members and talk to them.
A 100 bird Clay shoot will be held on Sunday 12th March 2017 at the Lazydog Shooting Grounds. prizes of 1st,2nd,3rd and spots. refreshments on the day. Start at 11am last entry 2 pm. A County Qualifier Clay Shoot will take place on Sunday 19th Feburary at the Quarry Shooting grounds in Belgooly Co Cork. The start time will be 10:30 Am hoping to finish at 15:00 Pm.

Nargc officials have expressed an interest in meeting with the Federation of Co Cork Gun Clubs. We have invited them to pay us a visit on the 23rd November in the Oriel House Hotel at 20:30 hrs and they have graciously accepted. We expect the Chairman Mr Michael Fenlon,The Treasurer Mr Paul Doran and the Fund Administrator Mr Chris Gavigan to attend. This meeting is open to all club members who wish to attend and we hope to discuss all aspects of the NARGC on the night.See you there.
